Morada Bay Beach Cafe
Girl’s Trip this week! Holly, Chantal, Jane, Faye and I went shopping to Islamorada. It was a fun-filled day talking about anything and everything. We piled into Holly’s car laughing and talking all the way. Our first stop was of course the Bass Pro Shop so that Chantal could get “Honey” aka Rene some shorts. Eventually we made our way to (must see) Island Silver & Spice a Tropical Department Store where I found several things to take away with me.
Faye made the suggestion that we go to Morada Bay Beach Cafe for lunch. This Mediterranean bistro with seating in the sand at mile marker 81.6 offers a great view of the gulf and the beach. The owner designed the restaurant to evoke the feeling of a surfer’s beach cafe in Hawaii and California. I think they hit the mark.
We didn’t have to stop shopping while at Morada Bay Beach Cafe because they have their own unique shopping experience. Mayu, housed in an Airstream travel trailer, sells everything from fine linen blouses, to t-shirts and children’s books.
