More Christmas Eve Fun

A Poole/Springer Christmas Eve wouldn’t be complete without our gift swap.  Everyone must contribute a wrapped gift, we draw numbers out of a hat to see who goes first.  The first player (this time it was Steve) chooses and unwraps a gift.  Player No. 2 then may either steal from Player No. ! or unwrap a gift.  We continue this madness until everyone has a gift.  We often create special rules about how many times a gift may be stolen in each round.  Jake is notorious for stealing–yep he got my clock radio alarm this year.  The game was fun but everyone enjoyed holding the newest member of the family–Molly Caroline.
