Jacksonville Beach, Florida
We started the day in fog but the sun rolled on in and burned it off before too long. By the time we made it to Florida it was a very warm 65 degrees.
Fernandina is the first city in Florida. The marina is still a mess but the mooring field is up and running. It is a shame that this beautiful area is right in the middle of an industrial area.
Irma did much damage in the area. It looks like the damaged boats have been retrieved and are being put into a crusher. It’s sad to see so much wreckage.
There is a huge boat yard just as the ICW comes into the St. Johns Rive river in Jacksonville. This grand beauty is getting some service work. Notice all the extras they have aboard.
White Pelicans enjoying the day
