Vero to West Palm Beach
Vero in the morning is like a work of art. The skies were beautiful shades of red. God is indeed a master artist.
By the afternoon we were in the Hobe Sound with beautiful homes on both sides of the ICW. The “no wake zones” went on for miles. When we arrived in the Jupiter Inlet we learned that church had just let out and all God’s people decided to hop on a boat. We have never seen such congestion. All boats 35 and over are not allowed to create a wake (that means Meandering Joy) but everything under 35 feet were flying around at incomprehensible speeds.
Once past Peanut Island we found an anchorage along with a hundred or more boats. We plan to leave bright and early on Monday (11/27/16). We hope to anchor at Great Sale Cay Monday evening. Green Turtle Cay on Tuesday. No internet for a few days but our phones and texts should work.
