Beach Cookout at Lynyard

Boating can make you hungry.  Get a bunch of boaters together and a great feast is likely to occur.  This is exactly what happened after a full afternoon of looking for Blue Holes and turtles.  We found one blue hole and dozens of turtles.  They swim way to fast to get a picture.  

Several of the guys had done some island scavenging for logs and sticks that would burn so that we could have a cookout.  Everyone brought their own hot dogs and a side dish to share.  Most everyone who attended were Royal Marsh Harbour Yacht Club Members–but some others in the anchorage saw the gathering and decided to join in.  That is what boating is all about–making new friends while enjoying the beautiful water all around.
