Tahiti Beach

Hope Town is on the northern end of Elbow Cay.  There are many other great places to explore on Elbow Cay.  We like Tahiti Beach on the southern tip of Elbow.  The beach is secluded.  It is a great place to collect shells, starfish and sand dollars at low tide when the sand bar seems to go on forever.  On our last trip we found a terrific piece of brain coral.  We looked for more but came away empty handed.

A floating restaurant and bar named the Thirsty Cuda is supposedly based at Tahiti Beach.  We didn’t see the restaurant while wandering around the beach.  The sesame conch bites and conch fritters are highly recommended.  Maybe we will run into the Thirsty Cuda next time.
