Photo Booth Fun
My dear friend Susan on Copeing asked me to man the photo booth. She had a basic plan but needed me to decorate the booth and come up with props. I was happy to explore this opportunity. On February 5, we started with a basic 10 foot backdrop support system stand. These can be purchased from LimoStudio at Amazon–
Susan and Mary on Mascot had a basic plan of lights behind a sheer screen. We had purchased two a white plastic table cloths as our screen from the one fabric store in Marsh Harbour. After our set up, we knew we needed one more to get the fullness we sought. Unfortunately the fabric store was sold out. Lucky for us, Sandy on Critcher Cat had one on her boat that she donated to the cause.
Mary is behind the screen helping adjust the height and width of the stand. Susan agreed to pose so that I could adjust the position of the tripod and check on lighting at the time of the ball.
Our theme of Black & White as shown below helped me in my search. Since we had a theme of Black & White–I thought I would try to achieve something like the photos below from Pinterest. The challenge would be finding supplies in the Marsh Harbour.

I never did find anything to my liking in Marsh Harbour. Lilly on Oh Henry made a trip back home and picked up some supplies for us from our friends at Amazon.
More tomorrow….

Oh my! Just like prom – but different!
I may wind up having to put you on the payroll. I would have loaned you all needed….
Glad it wasn’t prom with all that drama–I had a good time just getting things together. Those teacher creative bulletin board skills kicked in after many years unused.
Ooh, oohh I can’t wait to see the finished product. If you feel you need more screen – there are probably shower curtains that may work.
You may want to do a photo booth for Matt’s Eagle Party or for the group party!
That is a thought. We have a photographer as part of the group too.
