Chainsaw massacre in Bold Springs
(3/10/18)When we are at home, we take care of all kinds of business. The business of making money so we can go on trips to the Bahamas, the business of taking care of our home so that it doesn’t fall in to disarray and the business of seeing family and friends–my personal favorite.
Our home was built in 1993. The shrubbery in the front flower beds are original. I have been wanted to remove them for at least 5 years. And I have been told by my personal groundskeeper, that we would indeed replace these shrubs this year–2018.
One morning while we were home, I heard a chainsaw start up near the front of the house. I was thrilled to see Steve out there working on those shrubs. Much to my dismay, however, he was just trimming those shrubs rather than cutting them down. He has decided to give them another chance. One more spring to fill out. This may be one of the few times Steve has displayed more patience than I.
Come on over this summer and check them out. If they haven’t filled out by June, I may just have to get that chainsaw back out….
