One translation of Proverbs 27:9 is that a sweet friendship refreshes the soul. Many friends have called, texted, emailed, and posted on facebook their support for our family at our time of grief. These acts of kindness have lightened our hearts and brought a smile to our faces.
Our friends live what Maya Angelou suggested,
Be a rainbow in someone else’s cloud
May we all look for ways to be a rainbow for others as these clouds of uncertainty hang over us during these strange times.
