We Made It to Bimini!

On Thursday, March 5, we left Marathon and went to Rodriquez Island off of Key Largo.  We anchored overnight and slept great.  The weather/winds/waves were calm giving us a nice night.  Friday, March 6, we left Rodriquez at 6:40.  The waves were a little tumbly but settled down greatly by 10:00 a.m.  We arrived at Bimini Sands Resort at 1:40 p.m.  The resort is lovely–the no see ums are not!

We have taken the ferry to town to purchase a BatelCo phone–so if you get a call from someone with a Bahamian number it is probably us.  No pictures because internet is abysmal!

Family Update–Katy closed on her new home.  Caroline is supposed to move to a new apartment and Lainey is coming to the Bahamas on March 12.
