Military Ceremony at Fort Frederica

On Saturday morning, the winds were cool making it a perfect day to take a walk at Fort Frederica.  Bob, Eve & Jake who were visiting, had never seen Fort Frederica so it was a perfect treat for them.  There is currently no fee for this National Park which made it even more appealing.  A docent was dressed in period attire–we had not seen this on any of our previous trips.  He told us that there was to be a memorial service for a veteran and he was dressing the part in respect for the deceased who had loved this particular National Park.

It was a treat to be able to witness the service.
