Royal Marsh Harbour Yacht Club Christmas Party

(12/12/17) The annual RMHYC Christmas was held on Tuesday at the restaurant of the Abaco Beach Resort.  I have been hearing the members of the Christmas party committee talk about decorations, meals, reserved seating and more.  Steve and I were excited to attend as new members.  We also did not know what to expect.  It was a surprise to see so many more people at the party than at the nightly cocktail hour gathering.  I was surprised to see that there are many members who are land residents–meaning they are no longer boating.

The decorations were very nice and the food was delicious.  It was a well planned event which ran smoothly.

There were three choices for dinner: vegetable lasagna, chicken piccata, and lamb.  The chicken piccata with smashed potatoes and mixed vegetables was delicious.  The lamb looked good too and we heard no complaints.  We didn’t talk to anyone with the lasagna but it looked yummy.  Dessert included a key lime pie and some type of cheesecake–maybe mango.  Both were good.

A good time was had by all!
