Little Harbour

Categories :

(12/23/17) Destination Little Harbour.  Randolph Johnston, a sculptor who was born in Canada and later lived in Massachusetts came to Little Harbour in 1952 and eventually started a foundry and sculpture studio after moving his wife and three sons to the very isolated spot on Great Abaco.  Pete, one of his sons, runs the foundry today as well as Pete’s Pub, a local watering hole.  Read about the family history here or purchase the book Artist on His Island for the journal Randolph kept while building a life on Little Harbour.

Pete’s Pub is hosting an arts and crafts show to purchase last-minute Christmas gifts so we had to go.  Steve is interested in purchasing a small bronze sculpture.  I am interested to know how much he is willing to pay for a small bronze sculpture.  The kids are just excited to travel by boat!

We had a delicious lunch of curry boar, grilled triggerfish sandwich, ahi tuna sandwiches,  and mandarin chicken sandwiches.  All plates came with coleslaw, and rice with peas.

  1. Looks like Steve is enjoying having another man in the family. Glad you are having fun and could all be together.

    1. We are having a great time. I am sure you had a great time in Grayson. Hoping you can avoid that cold front in Philly!
