Even though we had a great late lunch at the Hope Town Harbour Lodge, we asked any RMHYC members staying nearby to join us for appetizers before heading to the Songwriters in Paradise Concert.
Songwriters in Paradise began in 2013 when The Firefly Sunset Resort in Hope Town offered Patrick Davis an opportunity to perform as a solo artist. Patrick had another plan which he thought would be even better. He wanted to include many of his musically talented friends for a multi-day songwriters festival. The first SIP festival included 8 songwriters and 3 nights of music. This year there are close to 20 songwriters who perform at 5 different venues with 2 shows almost every night over a week.

Looks like lots of fun
It was great fun. The songwriters are very approachable and happy to talk to us about their music or the islands.
