Fort Pierce to Titusville

(4/11/18) Brilliant blue skies and seas were commonplace in our last few days in the Bahamas.  Now that we are home the weather that we were trying to avoid at sea has arrived in the U.S.  Gray skies, gray water, wind, rain and waves stuck with us from Fort Pierce to Titusville.  The wind was so high that we decided to anchor out rather than try to get into the marina at Titusville after a day of battling waves.  We didn’t want to risk being blown into the dock or into another boat.  We anchored near our friends on Summer of ’42 at the bridge.

The winds had calmed a little bit after we anchored but not much.  The sunset behind the bridge gave us hope for a coming pretty day.
